RA/OR 153 - THE BLAZE FACTOR (with Blaze Bayley)
A solo career in his sights, Bruce Dickinson left Iron Maiden in 1993 and would be replaced by Blaze Bayley, former frontman for a raucous rock and roll band called Wolfsbane. The change proved difficult but Blaze would make two albums with Maiden before being unceremoniously replaced by the man he'd replaced. On this episode BJ speaks with Blaze Bayley himself about the role he played in the Iron Maiden story.

Wow, brilliant episode. Blaze lays his soul bare in this interview--I felt crushed along with him when he described his surprising exit from the band. Huge credit to him and to you for getting him on the episode! I did not know he sang an acoustic version of "Blood Brothers", that was very nice to listen to. Thanks as always!
