For many, like BJ, the 1971 dark comedy film Harold and Maude was their introduction to British songwriter Cat Stevens. If you're unfamiliar, may this episode be your introduction to either or both.
Death SS were an Italian metal band formed in 1977. They performed whilst clad in the most basic children's Halloween costumes. How many in the audience were laughing? None, according to the band's less than modest "visionary," Steve Sylvester, who wrote a book about the band's early days called The Necromancer of Rock. BJ got his hands on a copy.
B.J. examines how the rest of the eighties went for AC/DC after the monumental success of Back In Black and then counts down his top 15 favorite eighties AC/DC songs post-BIB.
BJ is joined once again by Brian Sword, who just relaunched his podcast The Double Stop, to discuss their least favorite Bon Jovi songs from the eighties.
From There But For Fortune by Michael Schumacher:
John Train appeared without warning in the early weeks of summer 1975, quickly asserting himself into the Greenwich Village scene like an unwanted stranger who refused to go away. For the next few months he would anger, confuse, shock, sadden or frighten nearly everyone who crossed his path.

Chelsea was originally formed in August of 1976 by singer Gene October, guitarist William Broad (aka Billy Idol), bassist Tony James and drummer John Towe. After the other three left to form Generation X, October kept the band going, cycling through line-up after line-up, releasing som classic punk singles and albums along the way.
Jook were a great band, active for just a few years in the early seventies. They released six singles, including some absolutely classic heavy glam tunes, but no album. For this episode BJ is joined by Ian Kimmet, the band's singer and main songwriter, to discuss why such a killer band failed to thrive, even in the midst of the glam rock explosion.
To commemorate that milestone, BJ takes a look back at his copious list of episodes, of which many are currently unavailable, plays some favorite clips and songs and reminisces with old friends.
