ROCK AND/OR ROLL 079 - NO SHAME ROUND 2 (WITH DECIBEL GEEK)
It's the Decibel and/or Geek as BJ is joined by AAron Camaro and Chris Czynszak from the Decibel Geek podcast for another installment of "No Shame." Listen as three dudes raised on metal shamelessly admit to liking some decidedly non-metal tunes.
BJ, you took it to another level on this one. Good job. I also thought the one guy from Decibel geek (Aaron?) had some great things that fit the theme. Chris? (the one with Michigan\Wisconsin\Fargo accent) on the other hand had some interesting picks (never heard of the "Hein" band. I think he must hang out with some closed minded people if he really that ashamed of liking songs by Violent Femmes, Kenny Rogers, No Doubt, Sade, or even Meatloaf. All have very good tunes and i have CD's by most of them. Think he was trying to be cool and could've "dug deeper", and agree that he should be more ashamed of liking Korn, Mudvayne, Kid Rock, or some of the other stuff I've heard them talk about on their show. (I do like their podcast though, not trying to put them down. Just difficult to like EVERYTHING that everyone does.)
Good episode but disppointed at the technical difficulties in the recording. Decibel Geek's sounded like they were in a toilet bowl. Looking forward to a part 3. (-;
"Isn't that a cover of a Shaggy tune?" Classic! almost made my beverage come out my nose! LMAO
