RA/OR 168 - KYUSS

Kyuss is one of those bands that was ahead of its time. A few years later and they might have been huge. They developed their own sound, accidentally on purpose, and made unique, interesting, compelling music. It wasn't metal, it wasn't grunge. It was Kyuss.

  1. Hey BJ just listen to the episode 168 on Kyuss. It was excellent. I found have this podcast thru Decibel Geek (Thanks Chris and Aaron!) I have listen to several episode before - I like the excellent documentary style presentation and your personal knowledge and passion on your subject matter. However sometimes you take way too deep dives and I don't always know what I'm hearing (this is where video would come in handy). On Kyuss, the subject matter is very much deep dive to begin with so it works well. I loved hearing the live and Sons of Kyuss songs, most I have not heard before. It was cool hearing all those great songs. Its a job well done. By the way I too am not a huge QOTSA fan either. It's ok but its not Kyuss and honestly if I would rather hear whatever John Garcia is doing. The one request I have is better show notes of what your playing during episode and where to find it. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this.
    Rock On - Scott
